The Residential Tenancy Branch has a Compliance and Enforcement Unit (CEU) that can investigate repeated or serious contraventions of the law. If you are dealing with an illegal lockout, or another urgent matter with your landlord, the CEU might be able to offer quicker and more effective assistance than the normal dispute resolution process.
