For whatever reason, 48 hours has become the default move-out deadline for most Orders of Possession. When disputing an eviction notice, consider using this Request for Appropriate Time to Move Template to remind the arbitrator that they have discretion to extend the deadline in cases where it makes sense for the tenant, and would not cause significant hardship to the landlord.
