The Residential Tenancy Branch offers over 50 Policy Guidelines for tenants and landlords. These helpful resources go into greater detail on certain topics compared to the Residential Tenancy Act, and are often referred to by arbitrators in dispute resolution decisions. One of the most commonly referred to Policy Guidelines is Landlord & Tenant – Responsibility for Residential Premises.
