In the first section of this course, you thought about how much rent you can afford, and identified some rental needs and preferences. In the second section, you learned about different types of rental housing, and reviewed some techniques to help you find the right place. In this section, we are going to look at the steps you need to take once you have found a place you want to rent.
We will review how to complete an application form, prepare a list of references, obtain your credit history, and write an effective cover letter.
It’s a good idea to take the application process seriously. Submitting a poor application probably means that you won’t get the place you want. Let’s start by learning more about the application form
